“ Great ambiance, interesting drinks, and delicious food! Not too formal or stuffy, perfect for a date night or casual celebration. We walked in and sat at the bar, but otherwise the place was full and you would probably need a reservation on the weekends. The entire staff is phenomenal and service is perfect. Definitely give this place a try! Were hoping to become regulars! ”
“ Liliana is one of the best spots Ive been to in SF. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, and the food is unique and delicious. Id recommend ordering a few things, and sharing it with your table. Youre going to want to try a little bit of everything. The flavors are so unexpected, but make for an amazing combination. I was pleasantly surprised by the pork tenderloin with seared apricots. If you want a fancy night out in SF, definitely swing by Liliana. ”
“ Really fantastic spot. The cocktail program is fun and unexpected, the plates are seasonal and delicious, and the atmosphere is hip and intimate. Feels like its gonna be a hard res to get soon. My only dings were that it was pretty loud 4 shelf speakers in a 12 cover space? and that 80 thin, boneless ribeye although delicious was not worth the tag. ”
“ We had a wonderful dinner, expect to be satisfied by the rich flavors and not by the portions. We shared six items and a dessert. The beef was tender, the oysters light, the cabbage savory, and the salad fresh. The white lili was a great drink although I like something stronger. I did hear that the espresso was very potent and the cake was light and sweet. It was a nice experience. ”
“ One of my favorite craft cocktail spots Liliana recently debuted an incredible prix fixe experience called Bar 58. Named for the four end bar seats, the experience consists of a fivecourse cocktail and food pairing while seated at the bar. Diners get front row access to bar director Uzziel Uzzi Pulido to watch and learn about the creation of each cocktail. The food comes from the shared kitchen of newly Michelinstarred sister restaurant Osito. Led by chefowner Seth Stowaway Bar Agricole, Mister Jius, Osito features live fire cooking in a fine dining tasting menu format. Needless to say, Lilianas food by the same team is equally as impressive as the craft cocktails. The highly seasonal, California menu currently features Umpqua spring lamb, light seafood, and fresh local produce. While the lamb course was a standout with tender smoked loin and roasted shoulder served with asparagus grits, I thoroughly enjoyed the entirety of the concise, but bold menu. Modest looking cabbage rolls were flavor bombs that soaked up apple butter and fermented cabbage sauce, while chicken fat created a luscious mouthfeel. A French onion soupesque course came with parmesan milk bread that we had to ask for seconds of couldnt let that decadent house butter and green garlic sauce go to waste! Luckily, the kitchen was able to accommodate. Dessert was an avocado tart with smoked green strawberry and pickled blueberries. The tart shell was a lighter, flaky style which contrasted nicely with the avocado cream filling. This time I barely resisted the urge to inquire about seconds. With each course, I enjoyed a thoughtfully paired craft cocktail that could stand on its own. Previous cocktail pairings Ive done tend to have milder cocktails to not overpower the food, but are rather forgettable. At Liliana, I could easily enjoy any of the paired cocktails separately. As there were five courses, the cocktails were not full servings, so you dont have to worry about being overly inebriated. The cocktails ranged from bright and citrusy to warm and fullbodied. As a whiskey lover, I enjoyed the bourbon, Japanese whiskey, and scotch base in the last three courses. Im not much of a gin martini fan, but Uzziels spin on a 5050 martini with fresh herbs and blood orange bitters made me question my prior aversion. Service was very personable as usual. Uzziel is a natural storyteller, and he seamlessly weaves in fun stories like childhood memories and glassware finds, while sharing his deep knowledge of ingredients. Osito chef Cameron Sycks personally presented and described each food course, and chef Seth frequently makes the rounds to converse with patrons. Currently this menu runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays and must be prepaid via Resy. And at 140, which includes both food and drink, Bar 58 at Liliana SF might be the best upscale prixfixe pairing you can get in San Francisco at this price point! ”
“ Osito Casual, unassuming, great service and great vibe. The pork chop is absolutely our favorite. Shrimp , squid , chicken spam came close. Cocktails are also well curated and balanced which is not a easy thing to do and definitely not something you can take for granted in a New American restaurant. ”
“ Had one or my best meals on a recent trip to SF at Liliana! I went with a friend and we got two small plates and two mains. Loved the little gem salad for something on the healthy side, and the full belly shishitos were more filling than expected. On the mains, the beef short rib was absolutely phenomenal and good for 34, so we ended up taking it home because it was so good! The ricotta dumplings on the other hand were creamy and filling. We walked away from this meal stuffed and happy, and will be coming back to try it again as the menu changes regularly. I also want to highlight the hospitality by the front of house we actually had to reschedule twice in the day to accommodate some calls, and the receptionist was very flexible and easy to speak with. ”
“ The expectations were sky high having done some research on Seth Stowaway before hand, but boy did Liliana exceed these expectation especially for a bar concept. We were greeted warmly upon entry and were served champagne. The ambience is very warm and welcoming. Wood everywhere. It only got better from there. For cocktails Elara and and the Penelopea cocktails both 10s. For food Striped Bass refreshingly light and nutty. Lamb Pate Arabianmoroccan influence out of this world, absolutely loved it. Sourdough Frybread excellent. Frog Hollow Mulberries one of the best desserts Ive had, simple but exquisite. Definitely coming back and ordering the whole menu next time. Perfect taster to what Osito could potentially offer. Undoubtedly booking Osito for an upcoming special celebration. ”
